Come watch several Port City MMA competitors show their skills for the Island Fight promotion in Pensacola, FL on April 6, 2013 at the Hilton on Pensacola Beach!  Brok Weaver will be the main event with Mike Barnett as the co main event.  Also on the card will be the MMA debuts for Justin Prescott & Corey Martin.  The other featured event of the night will be the 1st round of the heavyweight tournament!  Former University of Kentucky football player James McDevitt will be in the tournament representing Port City MMA.

Jonathan Faulkner picked up a huge win on Saturday night at the CageRage 14 show presented by Atlas Fights.  The show took place at the IP Casino in Biloxi, MS.  Faulkner faced a super tough fighter from from American Top Team named Taylor Krahl.  The fight was an absolute war from start to finish.  Jon lost the first round, but can back to win round 2 and he was able to finish the fight in round 3 with a very tight armbar.  The guys were awarded the fight of the night for the show they put on & Jon also received the submission of the night.  We are very proud of his performance.   He represented the gym with skill & class.

Congrats to Port City MMA competitor Brok Weaver on winning the Kage Wars Lightweight Championship January 26, 2013 in Panama City, FL.  Brok put on a great performance and won the title by unanimous decision with scores of 30-27 on all 3 judges scorecards.  We look forward to Brok defending his championship later in the year.  Thanks to everyone at Port City MMA who helps Brok get ready for competition.  He would not be so successful if not for all of our members helping him train & prepare.

Come support Port City MMA fighter Jonathan Cox when he makes his pro debut on the undercard of No Love Entertainment’s Gladiator Combat Championships show!  The show will take place on January 19, 2013 at the Hollywood Casino in Bay St Louis, MS & it will feature some of the top talent on the gulf coast.  Jonathan is a member of the Mobile Police Department & also trains full time with Port City MMA.  It takes tremendous dedication to be able to put the time in to get ready for competition while protecting the community in a full time capacity.  It will be a great night of fights from the gulf coast’s premier MMA organization.

We would like to congratulate Marcus Graham on being promoted to brown belt!  Marcus has proven himself in competition at the purple belt level by winning several tournaments.  The belt has been long deserved and well earned.  Marcus is a dedicated husband & father and we are proud to have him as a part of the Port City MMA family.
